How to fit 4D number plates on a BMW M3

This is how you fit plates properly first you start by removing the screws which hold the plate on if there are no screws simply just pull the plate off once the plates are removed give the surface a good clean before removing any old sticky pads for this we use a caramel wheel in a drill if you don’t have a caramel wheel you can use tar and glue remover or simply just pick it off with your fingers after removing all sticky residue prepare the surface again with an alcohol-based cleaner next apply the sticky pads supplied by Utopia plates to the back of the plate these are probably the best sticky pads on the market once the pads are applied simply peel off the tape and stick the plate on make sure you get it nice and straight first time as once they get a hold There’s No Going Back if you need to screw your number plate on we still recommend applying two sticky pads to the plate to help with alignment pre-drill your holes align the plate stick it down screw in the screws
